Information
If you require assistance please advise your airline at least 48 hours prior to departure. For those passengers who have not advised their airline of their assistance requirements Glasgow Prestwick Airport will make every reasonable effort to provide assistance, however unbooked assistance is not guaranteed on the day of travel.
If you have pre-booked assistance with your airline, when you arrive at the airport please inform airport staff if you require assistance. They will ensure that you are fast-tracked through check-in, security and boarding for departing passengers and immigration for arriving passengers.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport produces a ‘Accessible Travel Policy’ (updated July 2022) for passengers travelling to or from the airport via rail.
To set out exactly what customers should expect when travelling through our Airport and to ensure our customers are able to access assistance as required, Glasgow Prestwick Airport produces an Accessibility Guide (updated November 2024).
We welcome guide and hearing dogs at the airport and we will endeavour to provide appropriate facilities on request. We recommend that you contact your airline to confirm that assistance dogs are allowed to travel. Find further information on travelling with guide dogs.
